Attention: Bowls managers/selectors
As the Pennant season has progressed, several clubs have been able to avoid forfeiting their lowest ranked Pennant side by including players supplied by another Member Club. This has been a successful initiative in providing games for as many players as possible.
Where this arrangement has become ongoing, the two clubs that are in this arrangement are now required to formally agree to create a Combined Side and to apply to the MBA Match & Program committee (Rule 2.5). Such applications must be completed prior to the resumption of Pennant play after the Christmas break.
Clubs acting as a “host club” for a Combined Side are requested to accompany the application to create a Combined Side with a list of names and Member Club of players who have been used to complete their lowest ranked Pennant side as described above. This will allow updating of BowlsLink records in due course.
