Extreme Weather

The forecast maximum temperature on the BOM website for Thursday 23 February 2023 i ssued at 4.10pm on Tuesday 21 February 2023 is 40 degrees Celsius, after a forecast overnight minimum temperature of 25 degrees. This is an extreme weather event for the Thursday Pennant competition and no Round 16 Pennant games will be played on that day.

Thursday Premier League, Division 1 & Division 2

Round 16 games for Thursday Premier League, Division 1 & Division 2 will be played on Tuesday 28 February 2023 under normal starting time and playing conditions (i.e., 21 ends), unless rescheduled by agreement between individual clubs and with MBA Match & Program committee approval prior to this time (Rule 5.1) or by a further memo.

Thursday Division 3

Round 16 games for Thursday Division 3 will not be played and can be resulted in BowlsLink as “UNPLAYED” AFTER the replay games are completed (to allow the move of player names out of unplayed sides into higher Division sides for the replays if required).

There will be no further replay of games not completed on Tuesday 28 February.
