What a great day was held at the Playford Bowling Club, attended by 26 teams from our member bowling clubs.

The weather was kind for the day – how lucky was that?

Lunch was taken at 1pm, after round 2 was completed. An excellent lunch was enjoyed by everybody, as prepared by the Playford Ladies catering squad.

At the end of the tournament only 4 teams managed to win all their games with the following results-

1^st place – Port Noarlunga with 79 points + 41 shots up.

2^nd place – Ascot Park with 78 points + 23 shots up.

3^rd place – Payneham with 78 points + 12 shots up.

4^th place – Clarence Gardens with 77 points + 8 shots up.

5^th place – Port Adelaide with 58 points + 5 shots up.

6^th place – West Lakes with 58 points -2 shots.

Best Last game winner was Penfield with 29 points + 21 shots up.

All in All, a really good day of friendly bowling. The weather was kind to us, the Playford venue was excellent and well supported by the Playford members and enjoyed by so many members from our clubs that entered a team into this year’s tournament.

To all clubs, put this date in your diaries – Sunday 4^th January 2026 for another MBA Friendship bowling tournament, for ALL our member clubs to enter.
